RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA

Religious Education Recruitment Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th. God has blessed each of us with many gifts and talents. Let us unwrap all of our gifts and use them. The Religious Education Program serves people of all ages, different cultures and languages. Therefore, people of all ages and talents are needed to share “His Good News”. Don’t be surprised or afraid to answer his call. Remember, if he calls you, he will provide you the tools. Come share your gifts with others. We will be signing people after each mass.


Orientation for Religious Education. All parents planning to register their children for religious education classes must attend an orientation class. Dates are August 7th, 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM (Spanish), 11:00 AM – 12 Noon, (English), August 9th, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (English), August 10th, 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Spanish). Children DO NOT need to attend.


Orientación Para la Educacion Religiosa. Los padres que van a registrar a sus hijos para las clases de educación religiosa tienen que asistir a una orientación. Fechas: 7 de agosto, 9:15 AM hasta 10:15 AM en español - 10 de agosto, 7:00 PM hasta 8:00 PM. Por favor de NO LLEVAR a sus hijos.


Reclutar Para La Educación Religiosa el sabado, 23 de julio, y domingo, 24 de julio. Nuestro Señor nos bendice diariamente con muchos talentos y regalos que debemos de abrir para utilizarlos. El programa de educacion religioso es para todas las edades y para diferente culturas y diferente idiomas. Estos ingredientes nos da “la buena palabra” de Dios, y por esa razon, debemos de no tener miedo a responder a lo que Dios nos llama para hacer. No tengas miedo de contestarle al Señor. Acuerdense: si el nos llama; el provee lo necesario para nosotros poder hacer su voluntad. İVenga a compartir sus talentos y registrarse despues de cada misa!


Bake Sale

There will a Czech pastry bake sale and more after the 8:00 AM and 9:45 AM masses on Sunday, July 31. This bake sale is sponsored by the K.J.T. Society #54 (Catholic Union of Texas). There will be Corporate Communion for the Members.


School News

Thank you to our parishioners for shopping at Kroger and using the Kroger card to benefit St. George School. By just using this card, we have received a check for $170.00 this month. We have also received donations from Central Market, and Target. Cards are in the back of the church and school and church offices. The recycling of old newspapers for last month only gave us $25.00. Please save your newspapers and paper products, such as magazines, and drop them off at the recycle bins in the parking lot to help our school.

School cleanup days are: Wednesday and Thursday July 27, and 28, 2005 from 4PM to 7PM. Bring cleaning equipment. Cleanup on Saturday July 30, from 8 to noon. Dads, please bring wheelbarrows & shovels to mulch the playground. Help is also needed to wash the outside windows. A required meeting with parents will be on Monday, August 15, please attend. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 17.

Ministry with Lesbian And Gay Catholics, Other Sexual Minorities, And Their Families: The Fort Worth Diocesan Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics, other Sexual Minorities, and their families will offer an evening of prayer and conversation for Lesbian/Gay persons, their families, and friends on Thursday, July 28th, at 7:00 PM at the Catholic Renewal Center, 4503 Bridge Street in East Fort Worth. Father Warren Murphy, Coordinator of the Ministry, encourages those interested to come join us for prayer and sharing. Beginning Experience: The Beginning Experience is an international peer ministry for separated, divorced or widowed individuals within the North Texas area. This program has been operated and supported entirely by volunteers for 30 years. It is open to men and women of all faiths. The next retreat is on July 29-31, at the Catholic Renewal Center, 4305 Bridge Street. The remaining dates for 2005 are: October 21-23, the retreat dates for 2006 are: February 24-26, April 28-30, and July 28-30.
